Madanagiri Ella, locally referred to as Mohini Ella, is a captivating waterfall nestled along the Ratnapura–Wewelwatta Road. The cascade drops gracefully from a height of approximately 68 meters, producing smaller cascades before collecting in a crystal-clear pool below. Local folklore suggests the name "Mohini" comes from a mythical female spirit believed to appear at the falls, adding a layer of mystique and cultural intrigue. The atmosphere here is peaceful and largely untouched by commercialization.
