We are setting the stage to become pioneers in basic, para-clinical and clinical sciences research in Sri Lanka by designing life sciences research facilities equipped with cutting-edge research instruments. Our goal is to establish a strong research environment fostering national and international collaborations to tackle health related challenges faced by our society.

Currently our academics are conducting research in molecular genetics, infectious diseases and natural products that will significantly contribute to improving the health and well-being among our communities as well as gain economic benefits to the country.
