Department of Pharmacology provides an understanding of the pharmacological basis of the use of drugs in diseases at molecular, cellular and organ level. Prescribing drugs is one of the key practices in medicine, hence a strong foundation is believed to be of utmost importance. This undergraduate program consists of basic clinical knowledge, clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.

Lectures, small group discussions and tutorials are prepared to provide a better comprehension of safe, effective and rational usage of drugs. At the end of the program, students are expected to have analytical skills and knowledge on prescribing medication in clinical practice.
