Dr. Mevan Wijetunga is an honorary guest lecturer in Physiology and Pharmacology departments of the Faculty. Among his many titles, being a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology are highly noteworthy. He has been holding Subspecialty Board Certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2006. He is the current Chair of Heart and vascular services, Altru Health System in North Dakota, USA. Since 2018 he has been working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of North Dakota School of Medicine, USA.
