The Primary Care and Family Medicine clinical attachment consists of two weeks of clinical appointments at the following settings.
- Family Practice / General Practice Clinics
- Outpatient Department of the teaching hospital, Ratnapura
- Primary Care units Theppanawa & Pulungupitiya
(Duration: 2 weeks, Monday to Saturday from 8-00 am to 12-00 noon)
Assessment Strategy
Eligibility to appear for the End of Course Assessments
- Minimum of 80% attendance for tutorials and SGDs even with valid medical certificates or approved leave for any absence.
- Those who do not obtain a minimum of 80% attendance will have to appear for the next scheduled examination, which would be considered as a second attempt.
- Satisfactory completion of Clerkship Work Book.
