Department of Pathology - Teaching/Learning Activities

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

Faculty based teaching/learning methods include lectures, practicals (gross pathology, histopathology and haematology) and small group discussions/tutorials. These will be conducted by the academic staff. Lectures will guide the students on the subject areas to study. Adequate resources will be provided for practicals to examine gross pathology specimens and histopathology & haematology slides according to the subject area. Virtual practical sessions will be carried out where relevant.

For tutorials the batch will be divided into small groups and subject areas will be discussed among the students while tutor/s will facilitate the discussion.
