Sri Sumana Saman Devalaya, otherwise known as the Great Saman Temple is located in close proximity to the Faculty. It is a shrine dedicated to one of the guardian gods of the country, God Saman. From August to September, this temple is known to host the Saman Perahara, along with the Esala Perahara held by the Temple of Tooth, Kandy. This event is enriched by cultural dances and music from every nook and corner of the country.
