MEET Workshop: University Teaching in the Era of AI

A Medical Education Engagement and Training (MEET) Workshop on this timely topic was conducted on 19 August 2026 by Prof. Chalinda K. Beneragama, an experienced academic and educational leader from the University of Peradeniya. The interactive session explored the evolving role of artificial intelligence in university teaching and its meaningful and responsible integration into education.

The workshop was organised by the Medical Education Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. We sincerely thank Prof. Beneragama for sharing his expertise and the academic staff members for their active participation.
