Here’s to the brilliant success of SERENE 2024, an unforgettable milestone in celebrating World Tourism Day 2024, held on the 27th of September. The Tourism and Hospitality Subject Association of the Department of Tourism Management organised a truly amazing event in collaboration with Thema Collection, the Youth Exploration Society, and the Trip Pisso team to make the day even more inspiring and engaging for our undergraduates with industry insights.

Here are the most anticipated exciting programs conducted throughout the day.

The enlightening session about the “Road to Become a Professional Naturalist” was done by Mr. Ashan Karunananda, Senior Manager of Sustainability and Product Development at Thema Collection, along with his team.

An adventurous "Snake Awareness Program" led by the Youth Exploration Society to uncover intriguing facts about fascinating creatures and learn how we can safely coexist with them.

Inspiring discussions on "Creating Creative Content" by the Trip Pisso team to enhance content creation skills among undergraduates to create travel videos that captivate and immerse their audience.

The Hela Gravity Restaurant of the Department of Tourism Management impressed our guests with enjoyable, delicious moments at lunch and evening tea time.
