About the Conference

SLFE is the first ever platform in the entire university system which provides a great opportunity to connect among universities which are providing entrepreneurship education and training in Sri Lanka. The SLFE was initiated by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on Friday, 23rd April 2021 at the New Boardroom of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The forum expands the networking within the state and private universities through connecting dots of all the academic staff members, undergraduate students as well as the postgraduate students who are involved in Entrepreneurship education of the member Universities.

SLFE explores interdisciplinary areas in entrepreneurship, offering a platform for academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, insights, and foster collaborations. We invite researchers and practitioners to submit papers that delve into theoretical perspectives, approaches, models, and methodologies contributing to entrepreneurship theory and practice, with a special focus on integrating artificial intelligence and human intelligence in shaping the future of entrepreneurship.

The main objectives of this forum are,

·         To expand the network within the field of study, which in turn would enable discussing matters pertaining to the delivery of the subjects

·         To create vigorous relationships with industry participants, regulatory bodies, and government

·         To engage with more collaborative research in the field of entrepreneurship and link the research findings to decision-making parties

·         To build up a platform to showcase innovations and creative ideas of entrepreneurship students in the universities

·         To inculcate an entrepreneurial culture in Sri Lanka

The SLFE annual research conference is one of the key annual events organized by the forum. The first conference of SLFE was hosted by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and held on 17 December 2022. In 2023 and 2024, the forum was hosted by Uva Wellassa University and the University of Kelaniya, respectively. In 2025, the forum will be hosted by Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.

Objectives

• To provide a platform in Sri Lanka for local and international researchers and academics to disseminate their research findings, promoting a cross-cultural exchange of ideas and innovations.
• To explore and establish global alliances that enhance the quality and impact of interdisciplinary research in entrepreneurship and management, creating opportunities for international collaborations.
• To strengthen the network among emerging researchers, young scholars, and both local and international experts, encouraging mentorship and academic growth in the field of entrepreneurship.
• To encourage multidisciplinary dialogues between researchers and practitioners, promoting collaboration on research findings and their practical implications in the world of entrepreneurship, AI, and human intelligence.

Submission Guidelines

Author Registration

Please pay after the acceptance of your paper.

Note: It is mandatory for at least one author of an accepted paper to be registered to include the paper in the proceedings and the technical programme.

Note: Authors who have multiple papers should send separate declarations and registration forms. Registration fees are charged for each paper.

One Registration Fee includes the following for the registered author:

• Opportunity to present and participate in the technical sessions
• E-conference Proceedings (Full Paper)
• Certificates for all authors (including co-authors)
• Opportunity to be selected as the "Best Paper Presented"
• Opportunity to publish a full paper in the journals:
