CESTour Conference at BIMTECH, Greater Noida, India
The CESTour International Conference was held on the 6th and 7th of February at the Birla Institute of Management and Technology (BIMTECH) in Delhi, India. The theme for the 2023 CESTour conference is Navigating the Future of Sustainable Tourism, which will have tracks and sub-tracks to present the research in the main sustainable domain and application domains. Prof. Jarkko Saarinen, University of Oulu, Finland, Prof. Harald Friedl, FHJ University of Applied Science, Austria and Mr Vinod Zutshi, Former Secretary, of the Tourism Ministry, Government of India participated as the Keynote speakers of the event. The research paper presenters unfolded a tapestry of insights, exploring the forefront of sustainability under 14 different tracks. They were engaging in discussions and rigorous evaluations marked each session, making it an intellectual journey that added rich layers to the discourse. Prof. Athula Gnanapala, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies and Prof Rangana Shalika, Prof. T.U.I Peiris and Mr Namal Wijesundara Participated in the conference representing Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
