Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL) entered into a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CIMA - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants on May 16, 2023. In completing the MoU signing formalities, Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor R.M.U.S.K. Rathnayake, represented SUSL, while Zahara Ansary, FCMA (UK), CGMA, CIMA Country Manager, represented CIMA. The MoU was witnessed by Prof. W.K.A.C. Gnanapala, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies; Prof. D.G. Dharmarathne (Head), Prof. D.A.I. Dayaratne, and Prof. Dewasiri N. Jayantha, from the Department of Accountancy and Finance, representing SUSL. Mr. Sivasubramaniam Vithushan, Manager, Markets and Relationships, witnessed the mutual agreement, representing the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant’s (CIMA). Besides, the momentous signing ceremony was attended by the heads of the departments, academic staff members of the Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
