Grand Opening of the Spiritual Destination at Rideevihara

The first-ever Spiritual Destination in Sri Lanka was ceremonially opened at Rideevihara along with the Raid Amazones programme on 24.03.2023 by Mr. Chandra Wickramasinghe, Chairman, Connaissance De Ceylan with the blessing of the Chief incumbent of the Rideeviharaya, Ven. Thibbotuwawe Siddhartha Buddharakkitha Maha Thero.

The Spiritual Destination was developed by the Dept. of Tourism Management, Faculty of Management Studies of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka under the AHEAD-DOR Project in collaboration with the Rideeviharaya, Kurunegala. The Rideeviraya organized a very colorful event with a procession of traditional dancers and elephants to welcome the French Tourists (Raid Amazones).
