On the invitation of the Department of Education, a team of lecturers in the Faculty of Management Studies at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka have successfully conducted a three-day training programme for the teachers of Home Economics in the Uva Province from the 24th to 27th of June 2024 at Badulla Zonal Teacher Training Centre, Hali Ela.
Around ninety teachers were engaged in interactive and insightful sessions conducted by a panel of subject experts from the Department of Tourism Management and the Department of Business Management, touching interdisciplinary boundaries with plenty of examples and real-world cases enriching participantsโ abilities in the delivery of respective subject contents.
