Pirith Ceremony & Alms Giving at the Faculty of Medicine, Sabaragamuwa University

On January 24th, the 5th batch of our faculty organized a sacred Pirith Ceremony, followed by a morning Alms Giving (Dana) for the Maha Sangha. This spiritual gathering was held to invoke blessings of wisdom, health, and prosperity for our university community.

The soothing chants of the Maha Sangha during the Pirith ceremony created an atmosphere of peace and reflection, while the alms giving symbolized generosity and gratitude, reinforcing the values of compassion and unity among students and staff.
