Programme Learning Outcomes

  1. Identify the fundamental aspects of information systems and explain the issues in accordance with relevant industry standards and within the context of ethical, social, legal, and economic concerns.

  2. Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the importance of negotiation,  leadership, collaboration, and good communication in managing IT operations for IT-enabled  organizational improvement. 

  3. Apply different procedures and practices in the context of business and industry; theories  concerning the role of entrepreneurship and small businesses in a dynamic market economy. 

  4. Analyze the environment realistically, craft strategies practically, and select the best  strategies among the alternatives. 

  5. Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and information system theories in the modeling and design of information systems which demonstrate comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices. 

  6. Explore historical, current, and emerging techniques and technologies in information systems development, founded on a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
