IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is a global network of IEEE members and volunteers dedicated to promoting female engineers and scientists and inspiring girls throughout the world to pursue academic interests in engineering and scientific careers. Aligning with the aim of IEEE WIE to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of SUSL was established in June 2021.

Aims & Objectives

• To empower female students by sharpening their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical (STEM) skills

• To develop their attitudes and soft skills in order to overcome social barriers

• To encourage them to pursue a successful career in the fields of STEM
