The Department of Accountancy and Finance offers specialized undergraduate programmes in Financial Management and Banking & Insurance, aimed at producing graduates equipped to meet the demands of the modern financial sector. Two Honours degree programmes are available, each designed to deliver a strong academic foundation combined with practical skills for professional development.

The BSc Honours in Financial Management focuses on key financial concepts and technical skills essential for managing finance functions in both corporate and public sector organizations. The programme supports diverse career paths by developing analytical, strategic, and operational capabilities in finance.

The BSc Honours in Banking and Insurance is structured to prepare students for careers in the financial services industry, with emphasis on contemporary banking practices, insurance operations, and risk management strategies.

Programmes are delivered by a team of experienced and academically qualified staff, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Emphasis is also placed on co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to build essential soft skills and industry-relevant competencies.
