Team WeCodeX | Top 15 Finalists – Xcellerate Inter-University Hackathon 2025

We are pleased to extend our warm congratulations to Team WeCodeX for being selected as a Top 15 Finalist at the Xcellerate Inter-University Hackathon 2025.

The Xcellerate Inter-University Hackathon 2025, organised by SLASSCOM in collaboration with its organising partner Island of Ingenuity, was held on 19th November 2025 from 8.30 AM to 3.00 PM at TRACE Expert City, Bay 12. The event brought together talented undergraduates from universities across the country to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving skills.

The hackathon provided a highly competitive platform that demanded strong technical knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to develop practical, impactful solutions within a limited timeframe. Amid numerous impressive submissions, Team WeCodeX distinguished itself through its innovative approach, effective collaboration, and clear problem articulation, earning its place among the Top 15 Finalist teams.

Team WeCodeX comprised three dedicated members: Kavindi Kawshalya, Aradhya Jayawardane, and Geethma Samarasinghe. Their achievement reflects their commitment, perseverance, and passion for innovation and technology-driven solutions.

We are proud of this commendable accomplishment, which highlights the growing potential of young innovators and the importance of fostering creativity and technical excellence in higher education.
