Congratulations, Team UI Nova!

We are delighted to extend our warmest congratulations to Team "UI Nova" for being selected as a Top Finalist at D’Hack 2025 – Grand Finale (Design Hackathon), held on 01 November 2025 at the Senate Board Room, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Organised by the Students’ Association of the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, D’Hack 2025 brought together some of the most creative young designers and innovative thinkers across the university.

This year’s Design Hackathon challenged participants to craft meaningful, user-centred, and visually compelling solutions, highlighting their proficiency in UI/UX design, creativity, innovation, and teamwork. Among many outstanding submissions, Team UI Nova earned their place as a Top Finalist through their impressive design approach, thoughtful problem-solving, and strong collaborative spirit.

The team consisted of three passionate and talented members: Nithini Nethma, Nisalka Sasindi and Yasodhara Nipuni.

Their achievement stands as a testament to their dedication, design expertise, and commitment to excellence. Reaching the Top Finalist stage at D’Hack 2025 demonstrates not only their current capabilities but also their potential to thrive as future innovators in the design and tech fields.

We are incredibly proud of Team UI Nova and celebrate this remarkable milestone in their journey. Their success reflects our unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity, fostering innovation, and empowering students to explore emerging trends in design and technology.
