ComURS2026 - A Celebration of Innovation

The Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium 2026 (ComURS2026) was successfully held on 28th January 2026 at the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Under the theme "Next-Gen Solutions for a Digitally Connected World," the symposium showcased innovative undergraduate research across Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Open tracks.

The event featured poster presentations, expert evaluations, and the recognition of outstanding student research through Best Poster Awards in each track. Graced by Prof. Udyakumara, Director, CRKD as Chief Guest, ComURS2026 provided an excellent platform for students to present their work, engage with academics and industry professionals, and contribute to the growing research culture within our faculty.
