Congratulations on Winning Best Regional Innovative Product – University Category at SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards 2026!

We are delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our student W.A.T.G.R. Wijethunga for securing the Winner Award in the Best Regional Innovative Product – University Category at the prestigious SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards 2026, one of Sri Lanka’s leading platforms recognising innovation, creativity, and technological excellence. The award-winning project was supervised by Prof. B.T.G.S. Kumara and Mr W.D.D. Lakshan.

The awards ceremony was held on 16th June 2026 at ITC Ratnadeepa, Colombo, organised by the Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies (SLASSCOM) in collaboration with key partners in Sri Lanka’s ICT and innovation ecosystem.

Competing among talented university innovators from across the country, our student demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and innovative thinking, achieving this remarkable recognition in a highly competitive national arena.

This accomplishment reflects the dedication and commitment of our students and highlights the growing potential of our university community in developing impactful technology-driven solutions.
