Highlights from the Official Website Launch of ICARC 2027

On 20th August 2026, the Faculty of Computing at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka marked another significant milestone with the official launch of the website for the 2027 7th International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing (ICARC 2027). The ceremony marked the beginning of another exciting chapter in the conference’s journey towards fostering innovation, research excellence, and global collaboration in computing.

The occasion was graced by Professor S. A. Ariadurai, Acting Vice Chancellor of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, alongside Professor B. T. G. S. Kumara, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Professor S. Vasanthapriyan, Conference Chair of ICARC 2027. Their presence and leadership reflect the University’s continued commitment to advancing research, innovation, and excellence in computing. The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of representatives of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section, Heads of Departments and academic staff of the Faculty of Computing, Track Chairs, Technical Program Committee members, Organizing Committee members, distinguished academics, professionals, and invited guests. Their presence and continued support further strengthened this significant occasion for ICARC 2027. Together, these distinguished academics, researchers, and professionals contribute to creating a vibrant platform for knowledge sharing and international collaboration.

With the theme "Human-Centered Intelligent Systems for a Sustainable Digital Future," ICARC 2027 aims to bring together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and innovators to explore emerging developments in intelligent systems while placing human needs, ethical considerations, and sustainability at the heart of technological advancement.
