Inauguration Ceremony of ICARC 2026!

The Inauguration Ceremony of the 6th International Conference on Advanced Research in Computing (ICARC 2026), hosted by the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, was successfully held on 18th February 2026. The event marked the beginning of a significant international gathering that brought together scholars, researchers, industry professionals, and students from across the globe. Organized under the theme “Responsible AGI: Balancing Intelligence, Responsibility, and Sustainability,” ICARC 2026 provided an important platform for discussing emerging trends, innovations, and challenges in the field of advanced computing. The conference highlighted the growing importance of developing intelligent technologies that are not only powerful but also ethical, responsible, and sustainable.
