Recap of the Official Website Launching Ceremony of ComURS 2026

The Faculty of Computing at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka proudly marked a significant milestone on October 09, 2025, with the official launch of the ComURS2026 website. This event set the stage for an exciting new chapter in the journey of the Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium (ComURS) - now entering its third edition.

The ceremony was graced by the Dean of the Faculty of Computing , Professor S. Vasanthapriyan, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire innovation and academic excellence within the faculty. The presence of Heads of Departments and academic staff members further added prestige to the occasion, reflecting the collective commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture among students.

With the theme “Next-Gen Solutions for a Digitally Connected World,” ComURS2026 aspires to provide a distinguished platform for undergraduate students to present their research findings, share innovative ideas, and engage in scholarly discourse.
