We are pleased to announce and congratulate the newly appointed Executive Committee Members of the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group at SUSL for the 2024/2025 term, who were elected at the IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group at SUSL's Annual General Meeting on September 10, 2024, on university premises.

The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka is dedicated to promoting the empowerment, leadership, and professional development of women in the field of engineering and technology. Supported by the IEEE Sri Lanka Section, the group strives to create an inclusive and inspiring environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and the advancement of women in STEM disciplines. Through various events, workshops, and outreach programs, the WIE Student Branch Affinity Group actively contributes to the personal and academic growth of its members while advocating for diversity and gender equality within the university and the broader community.
