The Faculty of Computing is delighted to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Minuri Senara Hewage for being awarded the Hon. Lalith Athulathmudali Memorial Gold Medal at the 27th General Convocation of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, held on 9th July 2026.
This prestigious Gold Medal, presented by Professor G. D. Kapila Kumara, is awarded to the student with the best overall performance in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Software Engineering, having obtained a First Class with the highest Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) in the degree examination.
This remarkable achievement reflects Ms. Hewage’s outstanding academic excellence, unwavering dedication, and commitment to achieving the highest standards throughout her undergraduate studies. Her exceptional performance, perseverance, and passion for learning have earned her one of the University’s most distinguished academic honours.
