The Faculty of Computing is delighted to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Balasubramaniam Gobihanath for being awarded the Thambippillai Thambiratnam (J.P.U.M.) Attorney-at-Law Memorial Gold Medal at the 27th General Convocation of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, held on 9th July 2026.
This prestigious Gold Medal, presented by Professor S. Vasanthapriyan, is awarded to the student with the best performance in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Computing and Information Systems, having obtained a First Class with the highest Final Grade Point Average (FGPA) in the degree examination.
This remarkable achievement is a testament to Mr. Gobihanath’s exceptional academic excellence, unwavering commitment, and outstanding dedication throughout his undergraduate studies. His consistent hard work, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence have earned him one of the Faculty's highest academic honours.
