We are pleased to inform you that, in response to multiple requests, the deadline for submitting extended abstarcts to the 10th International Conference of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (ICSUSL) 2025, organized by the Centre for Research and Knowledge Dissemination, SUSL, has been extended to 10th August 2025.
The 26th General Convocation of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka was held on June 24, 2025, at the university premises, marking a significant milestone in its academic journey.
A key highlight of this year’s convocation was the graduation of the first-ever batch of medical doctors, with 65 students from the Faculty of Medicine receiving their MBBS degrees. This landmark achievement showcases the university’s growing contribution to the national healthcare sector.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a Beginner-Level Chinese Certificate Course offered by the Confucius Classroom at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. This course is specially designed for non-Chinese major undergraduate students who are interested in learning basic Chinese language skills and gaining insight into Chinese culture.

We’re thrilled to share the highlights from the official website launch of ICSUSL 2025, hosted by the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Professor M. The faculty of Social Sciences and Languages has developed an online reservation system in order to simplify the procedures and minimize the paper usage in reserving the Counsellors for the Sitharana Psychological Counselling Center.
This online counsellor reservation system is operational from 25th February 2025, benefiting all university students, as well as academic and non-academic staff members, by providing a streamlined and efficient booking process.
