The ComURS 2025 Website was Officially Launched!

The official website of the Computing Undergraduates Research Symposium 2025 (ComURS 2025) was launched successfully in a modest yet significant ceremony at the Faculty of Computing, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka on 29th October 2024, paving the way for the highly anticipated event on February 2025. The occasion was graced by notable attendees, including the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Professor S Vasanthapriyan, the Director of the Center for Computer Studies, Professor BTGS Kumara, and the Heads of the three departments alongside the academic staff members of the Faculty of Computing.

The Computing Undergraduate Research Symposium 2025 (ComURS2025), hosted by the Faculty of Computing at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, will provide a platform for undergraduates to showcase their research on February 19, 2025, under the common theme “Data-Driven Approaches to Global Sustainability”. This aims to encourage academic excellence, promote networking and collaboration, and enhance visibility for student research. By leveraging shared resources, the event seeks to benefit both undergraduates and the wider academic community.

Nevertheless, the launching program of the official website highlighted its features and its vital role as a communication hub for participants. It will provide essential information on research tracks, guidelines for paper submissions, and registration, streamlining access for all attendees.
