WP1 Analysis and design of programs in sport sciences and physical education for inclusive universities

Tasks:

• 1.1 Comparison of curricula in inclusive education through Sport and physical activities between   Indian and EU HEIs
• 1.2 Study visits to Europe
• 1.3 Survey and report with recommendation for implementation of SPIRIT curriculum package
• 1.4 Sharing knowledge platform for curriculum development and elaboration of guidelines for inclusive universities

Output (OP)

• Comparative report and collection of best existing practices in inclusive education through sport and physical activities. 
• Guidelines for inclusive universities developed. 

Outcome (OC)

• EU partners will provide a suitable measure in which determined competencies will ensure better understanding in basic and general concepts of inclusion through sport

WP2 Curricula development and support of capacity building in sport, physical education and health sciences

Task:

• 2.1 Design of training programmemes with course descriptors
• 2.2 Training of selected teachers in Europe and Asia
• 2.3 Development of syllabii for selected courses
• 2.4 Running and piloting modular courses in Asia

Output (OP)

• Created and piloted modular courses following Bologna standards to enhance inclusion, diversity and healthy lifestyles through sport and nutrition 

Outcome (OC)

• Teaching competences improved; Updated teaching/ didactic materials compiled; recognition and increase the acquisition of skills that lead to inclusion like competencies such as discipline, respect, team-work and tolerance through informal learning activities in sport.

WP3 Development of VLE and online courses

Task:

• 3.1 Training on VLE by UNIC
• 3.2 Development of LLL online courses for sport clubs, associations and local communities
• 3.3. Piloting and running of LLL courses

Output (OP)

• Creation of 4 LLL courses  and sport clubs, coaches and managers as instruction model to enhance inclusion through sport 

Outcome (OC)

• More inclusive societies and sport practitioners endorsing inclusive values like respect, tolerance

WP4 Quality monitoring and control of SPIRIT

Task: 

• 4.1 Internal quality control of the project
• 4.2 External Independent monitoring evaluations (mid-term and end)

Output (OP)

• QA system allocated to modular courses
• Internal quality control reports
• External evaluation reports

Outcome (OC)

• Improved quality of education
• Risk management and increase guarantees of achievement of project results

WP5 Dissemination and exploitation of SPIRIT

Task: 

• 5.1 Development and maintenance of project website and social media
• 5.2 Round tables, job fairs, participation in sport events to raise awareness of
• 5.3 benefits of sport and healthy lifestyle
• 5.4 Creation of SPIRIT student sport clubs and multiplier workshops on volunteerism
• 5.5 Organisation of inclusive sport events through SPIRIT student sport clubs
• Local portal as informal platform for communities of practice

Output (OP)

• Organization of website, round tables and dissemination events, 
• Creation of Volunteer student sport clubs to organize activities promoting SPIRIT
• Advocacy campaign to link sport to healthy lifestyle and inclusion

Outcome (OC)

• Raised knowledge on project objectives and achievements among key stakeholders
• Increased attractiveness of new courses for students Contribution to more tolerant societies within partner countries
• Visibility of project output and outcomes and improvement of life healthy style and inclusive practices among Iocal communities and society

• Management standards + procedures established, interim reports
• Final financial audit report
