USBus Program - FSSL

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the United States–Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission, organized an Awareness Session on Fulbright Opportunities and Education USA on October 16, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Faculty Boardroom.
The session was conducted by Dr. Patrick McNamara, Executive Director of the United States-Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission. The program provided academic staff and students with valuable information about Fulbright scholarships, postgraduate studies, research opportunities, and educational pathways in the United States.
Professor Rohan Abeywickrama, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, the academic staff members from all faculties, along with the students attended the session. The event was informative and interactive, offering participants a deeper understanding of international academic and cultural exchange opportunities.
