USBus Program at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka, will
host the USBus Program at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka on October 16 and 17, 2025, at the
Auditorium, Faculty of Technology.
The USBus – Mobile American Space is an outreach initiative designed to expand access to educational
and cultural resources for youth across the country. The program provides opportunities for students to
engage in leadership development, STEM activities, English language learning, and entrepreneurship. It
also features interactive experiences, such as VR demonstrations and 3D printing, aimed at equipping
students with skills and perspectives to thrive in a globalized world.

Schedule

  • Inauguration Ceremony: October 16th, 2025, 9:45 – 10:10 AM (Faculty of Technology Auditorium)
  • USBus Booth: October 16th and 17th 2025, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Faculty of Technology premises)
  • Academic Sessions:
  1. October 16th, from 10:30 AM onwards 
  2. October 17th, from 9:00 AM onwards (Faculty of Technology)
