Entrepreneurship Training on “Agri-Food Products”

Entrepreneurship Training on “Agri-Food Products” was organized under the AHEAD/ ELTAELSE- faculty grant was take place online on 6th August 2021 from 6.00 P.M. - 9.00 P.M. The main objective of this workshop was to provide intensive entrepreneurship training aimed at helping undergraduates to put their idea into action, bringing an attitudinal change and building their entrepreneurial skills. The resource person for the workshop was Prof. Nilantha Liyanage, Senior Lecturer, Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna. His main focus was on identifying the latest trends in the food industry and educating the students on introducing suitable products into the market. The workshop targeted 3rd year and 4th year students of the Department of Agribusiness management who are following the venture creation course module and the students of the Food Business Management degree program.
