INTRODUCTION

The English Activity Room was established at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka under Activity 4: Enriching English Learning Skills/ Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) Project/ Faculty of Applied Sciences with the aim of meeting curricular requirements, improve students' language competency, and assist learners in mastering the use of English. It helps students to improve all four English learning skills - Learning, Speaking, Reading, and Writing leading them towards their desired employability. The facility fulfills the requirements of students, instructors, and academics in a range of activities for developing soft skills and self-improvement, giving them the assurance they need to interact and present in English.
