Annual Magazine 2025

The annual magazine published by English Language Association (ELA), Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.

Submission Deadline: April 30th, 2025

Submission Guidelines:
1. Eligibility: All students & staff enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, are eligible to submit.

2.Content: Submissions can include:
   Articles: Essays, op-eds, or feature pieces on various topics.
   Poetry: Original poems in any style or form.
   Short Stories: Fictional narratives.
   Insightful reviews
   Visual Art : Illustrations, photographs, cartoons or digital art.

3. Formatting: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format (DOC or DOCX).
4. Plagiarism: All submissions must be original work. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
5. AI Usage: The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate content is strictly prohibited.
6. File Naming: Please name your submission file as follows: "YourStudentID_YourName" (e.g., "19APX0000_Nimal") or staff members for their names.

Recognition:
Selected submissions will be published in the annual magazine.
Authors of published works will be recognized in the magazine and at the launch event.

Rules and Regulations:
Submissions must adhere to the guidelines outlined above.
The editorial team reserves the right to select and edit submissions.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
All submissions become the property of the English Language Association and may be used for promotional purposes.
