Agsurs 2026

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences successfully hosted the 5th Annual Agricultural Sciences Undergraduate Research Symposium (AGSURS 2026) on 9th April 2026 at the faculty premises. The event marked a significant academic milestone, showcasing the research excellence and innovation of our undergraduate students.

This year’s symposium featured the presentation and publication of more than 80 undergraduate research studies spanning diverse areas of agricultural sciences, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to advancing knowledge and addressing contemporary challenges in the sector.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Sanjaya Nissankage, Cluster Chief Operating Officer – Agriculture & Heavy Equipment Cluster and Chief Executive Officer of Browns Agri Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, who shared valuable industry insights and perspectives, enriching the academic discourse of the event.

AGSURS 2026 provided a dynamic platform for students, academics, and industry stakeholders to engage, exchange ideas, and celebrate scholarly achievements, further strengthening the research culture within the faculty.
