Congratulations to the winners, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Management Studies, for their outstanding performance in the fiercely contested inter-faculty quiz competition “Varsity Battles 2023”!
Organized by The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC), the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), the Faculty of Management Studies, and the University Business Linkage Cell, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, this thrilling event brought together bright minds and enthusiastic participants from different faculties to compete in seven rounds of brain-teasing challenges. From global markets to current affairs, they tackled it all!
On 28th July 2023, the Faculty of Management Studies was buzzing with energy as Senior Prof. Udaya Rathnayake, the Vice-Chancellor of Sabaragamuwa University, Professor Athula Gnanapala, Dean of the Faculty of Management Studies, Professor DG Dharmarathna – Head, Department of Accountancy and Finance, Professor Indunil Dayaratne, Director of the University Business Linkage, and distinguished academic staff members, administrative staff members, delegates from the CSE and SEC and undergraduates of the university graced the occasion with their presence.
Special thanks go to Mr. R.M. Sivananthan – Manager – Ratnapura Branch, whose collaboration with our University made this event possible, and his continuous support was instrumental in its success.
