Vision
Create a platform for sharing experiences and exchanging research results and innovative ideas among the university community from various disciplines, thereby lending our aspiring researchers a helping hand with knowledge and mentorship to cultivate their interests in innovation and execution of their ideas to transform them into future innovators/entrepreneurs.
Objectives
The main objective is to enhance awareness, educate, nurture and inculcate an innovative culture amongst the university students and research community.
Specific Objectives
- To facilitate university students to generate new ideas and develop business models.
- To create a flatform to share innovative ideas among peers and academics.
- To provide a platform for the university students to showcase their skills by fostering innovations and product development while sharing their experiences.
- To promote the direct involvement of the students with the UBLC in the early stage of their studies.
- To assist the students for intellectual property protection.
Expected Outcomes
- Attracting students to the innovation path.
- Creating at least one startup company on annual basis.
- Linking students’ innovative ideas with industry experts.
- Creating awareness, educating, nurturing and inculcating a culture of innovation amongst the university community.
