The University Business Linkage Cell at SUSL works with the university researchers each year to help them protect their inventions through the patent process. According to the Intellectual Property Policy of the SUSL, the UBLC is managing all the activities related to intellectual property protection to facilitate and streamline this process. University staff and students are encouraged to contact the University Business Linkage Cell early to be aware of the options available to protect your invention.
Overview of the Patent Filing Process through UBL Cell
The Invention Disclosure Form should be handed over one month prior submitting the patent application to UBLC. The UBLC shall conduct a Prior Art Search and let you know the Patentability of your Invention.
UBLC will continuously communicate and follow up the NIPO until the patent is granted.
