The UBLC is responsible for the development, protection and utilisation of Intellectual Property Rights and the liaison of university research and innovation activities with business and industry in the promotion of technology transfer and the commercial exploitation of intellectual property.

After submission of an appropriate business plan for the commercialization of the technology, the UBLC works with the company to develop the terms of the Licence Agreement.
