Dr. GSN Perera
We take immense pride in recognizing the outstanding contributions of Dr. G.S.N. Perera,
Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Remote Sensing and GIS, Faculty of
Geomatics, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. As the Head of the Department, he has
played a pivotal role in curriculum development, research collaborations, and capacity
building, ensuring students and researchers are equipped with industry-relevant skills. His
dedication to mentoring young scholars has strengthened the faculty’s research culture,
inspiring future professionals in geospatial sciences. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Perera
