Student Circle of the Department of Economics and Statistics is organizing different kinds of events with the collaboration of the stakeholders in the industry and different activities which are useful for the outside community, university staff members, and university students.

1. Workshop on CV Writing 

The workshop on CV writing will surely give a clear idea about writing/creating a proper CV in such a way that the first point of contact with the potential employer will definitely be good for the applicant.

This is the chance for any student of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, to join the workshop and collect the required knowledge.

 

2. “Sipnena” O/L Examination Supportive Seminar 

We have organized a series of "Sipnena" supportive seminar targeting the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination in 2020.

All seminars are scheduled to begin at 9.00 a.m. and dates and links to the seminars are as follows.

The utmost objective is enhancing the bond among the undergraduates of the department. The event focuses on uplifting the Economics, Statistics, and ICT subject, latest technological awareness among the undergraduates, developing soft skills, and strengthening the relationship between one another.
