Business Linkage Cell, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages

The Faculty Business Linkage Cell is an extension of the University Business Linkage Cell (UBLC) of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. UBCL was established with reference to the University Grants Commission Circular No.10/2016 from May 2018. The University Business Linkage Cell hols the responsibility to effectively link the University research and innovation activities with external business stake holders. The cell functions directly under the Vice Chancellor and the senate approved Advisory Board.

At present, Prof.Indunil Dayaratne is the Director of the University Business Linkage Cell (UBLC) and Dr. KSN Prasangani is in charge of the Faculty Business Linkage Cell for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages. It functions under the purview of the Dean of the Faculty and often communicates with the UBLC.
