When Kids Meet Dung Beetles

About 50 school children from Belihuloya gathered at our faculty to learn and appreciate the role of the point endemic Spider Dung Beetle found only in the Balangoda-Belihuloya region. They listened to several lectures, engaged in activities, even played games and interacted with Ms. Rumeshika Perera and Prof. Enoka Kudavidanage and their colleagues at the Department of Natural Resources of the faculty who conducted these sessions. A refreshing experience for everyone!

This programme, which was held on 21st December, 2022, was supported by Wildlife and Nature Protection Society of Sri Lanka (WNPS) and Tropical Ecosystem Research Network (TERN).
