MoU signed by the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and the University of Salford, United Kingdom

The Department of Natural Resources recently coordinated an MoU being signed between the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and the University of Salford, United Kingdom to cooperate on fostering multidisciplinary research for disaster resilience and integrated natural resource management.

The hybrid event was attended by Prof. M. Sunil Shantha, Vice Chancellor ofย  Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, Prof. E.P.N. Udayakumara, Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. R.G.U. Jayalal, Head of the Department, and the academic staff of the Department of Natural Resources and, Prof. Dennise Rennie, Pro Vice Chancellor and the Dean, School of Science, Engineering, and Environment, Prof. Bingunath Ingirige, Prof. Terrance Fernando and the Contracts manager (Research) from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK.
