In collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, the University Business Linkage Cell of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Sabaragamuwa Chamber of Commerce and Industries on 26th August 2020 at Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. The main purpose of this collaboration is to affirm the industrial, research and academic collaboration between the university and the potential industries. Furthermore, the MoU ensures the monetization of commercially viable inventions derived from collaborative or individual R&D activities will be assisted by the Chamber to market such inventions.
The event was chaired by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka Prof. W.K. Athula C. Gnanapala, and Chief Executive Officer, Sabaragamuwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Ajith Ranasinghe and other distinguished guests.
