UBL Cell has organized a meeting with the Information and Communication Technology Agency on 12th August 2021 via Zoom platform to have a discussion on the Innovations Labs Project in which ICTA is planning to implement in universities to harness the research climate and intellectual atmosphere of the university researchers. Innovation Labs is a collaborative project planned to be commenced between ICTA, Universities & research bodies and the industry. It is a fully equipped research lab that will be established in the university through ICTA funding, to carry out industry projects and research. Director/UBLC Prof. Indunil Dayaratne, Director/ICTA Prof. Pradeep Abeygunawardana, Manager- Technology Diffusion/ICTA Ms. Shavinki Perera, Deans of the faculties and other staff members were present at the meeting and shared their insights.
