University Business Linkage Cell has conducted a meeting with Feedchemie Pvt. Ltd, a company supplying world renowned quality product in the Animal Health Market, to pitch Black Soldier Fly Larvae incorporated Animal Feeds invented by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The meeting was held on 15^th June 2022 at the Boardroom of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Director/UBLC, Prof. Indunil Dayaratne, Project Coordinator/RIC 06, Prof. Magamage Manjula P. Sumith, Managing Director/ Farmchemie Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Uditha Wanigasinghe and other officials from the company, research team members and UBLC staff members were present at the meeting. Ms. Dumeshi Ellawidana – Research Assistant/ RIC 06 presented a presentation to introduce their newly invented animal feeds. Delegates from the company expressed their willingness to commercialize the feed products and future prospects of the collaborations were discussed during the meeting.
