University Business Linkage Cell has conducted a meeting with CUPPA Organization, a company offers some of the world’s best roasted coffees, to pitch Herbal Tea Formulations incorporated Malla Plant invented by the Faculty of Applied Sciences. The meeting was held on 29^th October 2022 via Zoom platform. Director/UBLC, Prof. Indunil Dayaratne, Project Coordinator/RIC 18, Dr. Namal Perera, Deputy Project Coordinator/RIC 18, Dr. Thilini Kananke, Team Member/RIC 18, Prof. Kapila Rathnayake, Managing Director/ CUPPA Organization, Mr. Pradeep Ruppage, and UBLC staff members were present at the meeting. Mr. Pradeep Ruppage expressed his willingness to commercialize this herbal tea product in the territory of Malaysia and future prospects of the collaborations were discussed during the meeting.
